The photographer was pursued by the orally sadistic animal and thus didn't have much of a choice but to preserve Moonie for the posterity with an outhouse and a garbage pit in the background.

By the time Moonie starts her charge, the vicious dog is far gone.
I prefer my horses to be spoilt and aggressive rather than cautions and subdued. It seems to me that a horse that chases dogs will cause less harm than the one scared by them.
