Bed & breakfast from Asya

I've stayed at Asya's place in september 06, few steps from the Kremlin. Opinion: brilliant! Great location, so central. Even if it's your first time in Moscow, it's a piece of cake to go from the train station -assuming you are arriving from St-Petersburg- to there using the subway (well, assuming you've done some basic homeworks such as using a map first. The street where the appartment is located is tricky because it is divided in two parts, separated by the bridge. Most maps do not show that). And great hosts as well. Her mother Irena (she speaks very good English) and father Petr are absolutely charming and interesting fellows. I've spent hours talking with them about Moscow, former USSR and so on. However, be careful with the 2 cats: one is the cuddly type, the other one is probably a serial killer. (Just kidding, but the little animal is quite agressive... and if you're allergic, well... No go!). I have a few pictures of the appartement, just ask.
The apartment is beautiful, and has a remarkably good location. We walked across the bridge to the city center easily, and had a wonderful time in and around Red Square. Her rooms are large and comfortable, too. I would recommend her "hotel" to anyone looking for a positive taste of central Moscow. So much better than a hotel. Please thank her again for me.

We spent 5 nights at Asya's apartment with her parents. We felt like part of the family. Excellent location - convenient and able to use the kitchen as required. Interesting conversations, discussions about art, russian culture and hints about Moscow from her parents. Strongly recommended.
