Vegetarian travellers to Russia, which is notoriously meat-oriented, by all means ask for my help with shopping. Presetnly I'm compiling materials of interests to this group of travelers. Proceed here for more information.
If you are physically challenged or have a medical condition, please alert us of this fact. Most problems are solvable, and quite easily so.
If you belong to a visible minority, let us know before coming, and discuss your travel plans with us. Russian society is in crisis, and xenophobic sentiment is thus common. If you take reasonable precautions, however, you should not encounter any serious problems. Just make sure you let us know ahead of time.
Children, pets? Generally no problem.
NO PETS? A dog is available for rent , and it is not entirely a joke. Lunch-the-rat, who is a hit with kids of the 4-12 age group, lives in the apartment. SORRY TO SAY LUNCH-THE-RAT HAS DIED OF OLD AGE IN SEPTEMBER 2005, AND BUSIK-THE-DOG WAS RUN OVER BY A CAR..
