Why do you want to relocate to Canada?

I am a professional, motivated, and hard-working person. I want to be able to use my professional abilities to the fullest and know that the results of my work will be with me to the end of my days.

What’s your occupation?

I am an automobile engineer. Do you want to hear more about my work?

Where did you learn your trade?

I studies at the Moscow Institute Of Highway Engineering. Then I worked in a research facility as a technician. My first job was to test springs, shock absorbers, and other suspension elements.

What’s your present occupation?

Now I work in a research company called "XXX". There we study noise and vibrations in motor vehicles. Our work aims at making comfortable and safe cars and trucks. Major Russia auto manufacturers are our clients. Occasionally we work on other noise and vibration-related projects. For example ……

Tell me of some specific projects in which you participated.

You may know about Russian compact car called Oka. The research institute where I was working in the 80’s participated in designing this car. My job was to test its suspension, collect data, analyze it, and help in making recommendations on improving the ride characteristics.

I did the same work with Kamaz trucks.

Recently the firm where I work at the present time was applying techniques normally used to study noise and vibration in motor vehicles to one of the bridges over the Moskva river. This is an unusual by highly interesting project.

What is the final aim of your work?

Our aim is to make cars and trucks meet industry standards. But our most important objective is to assure human comfort and thus traffic safety.
