Cheap Moscow
Welcomes
POOR you
This site is a response to the half-truth that Moscow is among the most expensive places to visit.
Here you will find find inexpensive and downright cheap hotels, friendly and affordable homestay offers, and much more. Examples of local prices will help you in planning your budget. Advice scattered here is largely based on 10 years of active living and working and going through hundreds of non-standard situations in Russia. Proceed to www.unclepasha.com and dig into obscure directories if you are interested in details of the biography of this site's author.
This project is supported by the users of our Traveller and Business Support Services. Some of those to whom we regularly send business also contribute to making this site possible. Our guests and clients support the site not only financially. Lots of valuable information you'll find here, especially in one of the accommodation sections (Homestays, Apartments, Hotels, Outside of Moscow, Rural Travel and others) was sent by travellers like you. If you know something that needs to be added here, or have other comments, please post them on my Notice Board. From there information will be harvested and added to appropriate pages. You are also welcomed to write to me at inbox@cheap-moscow.com
Do you have anything to offer to the cheap travelling public? Homestay hosts, budget apartment owners, operators of cheap and interesting tours, programs, language schools and what not - I will add your information to this site provided I deem it valuable, and will keep it here if feedback is good. Remember that I receive copies of inquiries sent to you from my site, and I contact your clients once in a while to see how they have been treated. If I send you a regular trickle of clients you are expected to make a contribution to my cause (the customary 10%) but otherwise my services are free. Post your offers on the Notice Board or write to inbox@cheap-moscow.com
This site is based on www.unclepasha.com which grew out of control and thus is being separated into smaller focused sites. Proceed there for full information.
Please use my time and energy efficiently. Write rather than call unless it's an emergency. Word your questions carefully. Edit materials before submitting. If you really need to send me an attachment, watch the size because downloading 1 megabyte down an illegal radio channel at my dacha is no fun. Use the Message Board for questions and bits of information. Landlords and hosts wishing to add their materials to my site please submit text only unless the picture carries essential information, such as in the case of services I probably would not advertise here anyway unless another crisis forces me to suspend my moral scruples.
Need my assistance? See the list of Traveller and Business Support Services or write to inbox@unclepasha.com. Full contact details are HERE.
