THE PREOBRAZHENSKY FARMERS MARKET IN MOSCOW
Preobrazhenka District (east of the city center towards Shelkovskoye shosse). Nearest Metro: Preobrazhenskaya, or Semenovskaya and then streetcar No. 11???
Warning:
THIS IS A PROBLEM NEIGHBOURHOOD, A WORLD OF SLUSH, GRAFFITI, AND OPEN MANHOLES. BE ESCORTED BY SOMEONE STREET-WISE!This report was made around 2001. The neighbourhood has probably improved. The prices went up too. A newer report on Moscow's biggest and cheapest farmers market will be appreciated.
