Vegetarian community "Grishino" somewhere in Karelia, north from St. Petersburg, has vegetarianism as part of its "official" ideology. Active as of 2009! The Russian page is more up-to-date.
The Ark (English page) This community near Maloyaroslavets, Kaluga region, about 100 miles south-west from Moscow, has a pronounced vegetarian sentiment floating around. (May 2010: active, alive in both Russian and English)
