Vegetarian clubs, communes, other associations in Moscow & elsewhere in Russia
The Eurasian Vegetarian Society seems to dominate the scene. Their site has a page in English.
The most active vegetarian forum I've so far discovered is www.veget.ru/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi All messages are in Russian but your posting in English will probably be understood given the educational level of your average Moscow vegetarian.
Vegetarian community "Grishino" somewhere in Karelia, north from St. Petersburg, has vegetarianism as part of its "official" ideology, from what I hear.
"The Ark" This community near Maloyaroslavets, Kaluga region, about 100 miles south-west from Moscow, has a pronounced vegetarian sentiment floating around.
