Vegetarian friendly b&B in Moscow
Some
of the hosts listed in the Rooms & Homestays section of my
www.cheap-moscow.com are familiar with
the concept but don't expect "proper" vegetarian food. Just more
salads and more annoying questions just to figure out what you will and will not
eat.
Of those who have definitely had exposure to vegetarianism, note
The Gonin Family in
Ramenskoye south from Moscow, and
Margarita near
Metro Nagatinskaya.
Rooms or the entire apartment between M. Belorusskaya & M.
Mendeleyevskaya can be rented from
Natalia Korshunova, who offers vegetarian food as an option.
Those renting
my apartment on the
canal, across Red Square, will on request find the refrigerator full of my
typical selection of food and drink that will include to-fu, decent soy sauce,
ginger, spices, the best rice that can be procured in Moscow, and a variety of
beverages
Only vegetarian (vegan) food is of course served at my dacha that
connoisseurs of authentic Russian rural experience are invited to visit. See
www.russian-horse-rides.com and
